Mr. Yagi took artwork extracts and textures of nature from landscape photographs taken around the world and reconstructed them into a “crystal." He used plate-making techniques in offset printing and plate design to reproduce photographs and make use of spot inks such as gold, silver, and white. By doing this he achieved different textures using the offset printing process.
